George Michael Health Scare: Hospitalized for The Holidays

By: Brody Scott

George Michael, the British “Faith” singer and sometimes jailbird, has postponed two upcoming shows due to “his ongoing illness."

November 26 and 27 scheduled concerts in Cardiff have been canceled for their original dates and this message was posted on the “Freedom” hit maker’s website:

"With great regret, George Michael has been forced to postpone his November 26 and 27 shows in Cardiff, Wales, due to his ongoing illness. George was recently forced to postpone tour dates in Vienna and Strasbourg under doctor's orders after being diagnosed with pneumonia. He is currently receiving treatment."

E! Online news reports health troubles are sadly nothing new for the headline-grabbing singer. At only 48, the out singer has already canceled his pre-holiday performance at Vienna Hall only 2 hours before showtime after his doctor urged “him to rest his voice due to a viral infection.”

Send warm wishes for a fast recovery to George Michael this Holiday Weekend!

It's his time to shine-- as the former Wam frontman he is responsible for possibly the greatest Christmas song and video ever:
