Gingrich, Romney, and Santorum Heart Prop. 8

It should come as little suprise that three of the four remaining GOP presidential hopefuls disapprove of yesterday's U.S. 9th Circut Court of Appeals ruling, which upheld California anti-gay marriage Prop. 8 as unconstitutional.

Serial-adulerter Newt Gingrich tweeted his outrage with the judges, Santorum—who said last week he doesn't believe gay couples "benefit society"—tweeted that voters had their rights stripped away, and Willard Mitt Romney released an anti-gay statement as part of his ongoing quest to make conservatives like him. These three stooges may disagree on some of the issues, but they all agree that Prop. 8 is super fantastic.

Read what the "leaders" had to say below:

"Today, unelected judges cast aside the will of the people of California who voted to protect traditional marriage. This decision does not end this fight, and I expect it to go to the Supreme Court. That prospect underscores the vital importance of this election and the movement to preserve our values. I believe marriage is between a man and a woman and, as president, I will protect traditional marriage and appoint judges who interpret the Constitution as it is written and not according to their own politics and prejudices.”- Mitt Romney

It's good to see the US judiciary overturn the tyranny of the majority. Here in Canada most of our equality was won through the courts and then the government(s) followed. It's scarey that one of these guys could actually be a US President. If that happens it will be a sad day and many Canadians and others will be reassessing their relationships with the US.

U can post my email...I dnt care. These guys r close minded idiots! Isnt there bigger issues in this world that u should be concerned about? Read ur constitution....everyone should b treated equaly!! As a us citizen...born on a military base...Camp Lejuene, N C. I should have the God given right to marry whomever I want! As well as every other us citizen, straight or gay! This is exactly y none of thesde republican dumbasses should b eloected to office! They want to make their personal beliefs laws...which is not what the US is about!

Rick Santorum, As president you should work to stop divorce since that's the real opponent against marriage. It isn't two guys or two girls getting married, its when something breaks up the marriage all together.

Newt Gingrich, If your president, aren't you pretty much put in power to over ride things as well? I know congress can over ride anything you say but, you can over ride laws as well. What your saying to end is the thing your running for in a way I think.
