Clay Aiken Makes Final Plea on CNN Against Amendment One

North Carolina native Clay Aiken appeared on CNN Tuesday in a final plea to that state's residents to vote no on Amendment One—a primary ballot measure that would make marriage the only recognized domestic union between same-gender and opposite-gender couples.

Though Aiken, who resides in North Carolina with his three-year-old son Parker, would not say if he is currently in a relationship, the American Idol contestant did explain how the proposed constitutional amendment would negatively impact all non-married families in the state.
