Chick Fil-A Protest Smackdown: Mike Huckabee Vs. The Gays

Do you like Chick Fil-A's anti-gay politics? If so, then eat there on August 1st. Do you hate Chick Fil-A's anti-gay politics? If so, then make out with a dude there on August 3rd.

You see, failed Republican presidential candidate Mike Huckabee is tired of anti-gay businesses being labelled as " homophobic, fundamentalists, hate-mongers, and intolerant" (if the shoe fits, Huck).

So he has declared Wednesday, August 1 "Chick Fil-A Appreciation Day" and is telling folks to "affirm a business that operates on Christian principles and whose executives are willing to take a stand for the Godly values we espouse."

Riiiiight.

For the record Huck, nobody has a problem with Chick Fil-A having Christian principles. People do have a problem however with Chick Fil-A giving millions to groups that support the continued criminalization of gay marriage.

It's not that hard to understand—chicken sandwiches and waffle fries good, denying rights to American citizens bad.

Luckily, Dallas-based activist Carly McGehee has declared August 3rd as "National Same Sex Kiss Day At Chick Fil-A" :

In honor of their support for love, equality, and the real definition of family, we're holding a NATIONAL Same Sex Kiss Day at Chick Fil A's around the country. So grab a friend (or 20) and head out to your nearest Chick Fil A! And don't forget to post photos/videos of it here! For all the world to see!

If you decide to attend the August 3rd event, just remember to remove any chicken nuggets from your mouth before kissing, like a proper gentleman.
