Anti-Gay Cheerios Arsonist Now In Heaven
The last image many people will have of 65-year-old anti-gay street preacher Michael Leisner will be of him stamping out an overturned bowl of fiery Honey Nut Cheerios in a failed protest of General Mills' support for same-sex marriage.
We say last because Mr. Leisner just passed away in his car while waiting for his kids to get out of tennis practice.
You may recall that shortly after his protest, Leisner shut down his personal YouTube page which had been filled with rants against "perverted sodomites" and subsequently got fired from his real estate job for his online pyrotechnics.
Local pastor Dwight Denyes said he suspects that the cereal burning video "doesn't accurately reflect who [Leisner] was as an individual," adding "He was a very loving and caring father of his four children, a loving husband and he seemed to get along with other people."
But we should all learn something valuable with his passing—be careful what you do on the internet, it will remain part of your digital legacy.
