Undoubtedly, there are a good number of OutTravelers who, at one time or other, dreamed about visiting a life-sized Barbie's "Dream House."

Unfortunately, Berliners are saying "Nicht!" to a 26,000 square foot "Dream House" scheduled to open in Alexanderplatz next month.

Berlin's Barbie house — one of two life-size attractions (the other will be in Sunrise, Fla.) designed to give children face-time with the plastic princess and her boyfriend, Ken — is drawing protests from activists who say the project is sexist, The Independent reports. Michael Kosschitzki, a member of Germany's Left Party, has launched an Occupy Barbie-Dreamhouse Facebook page and says demonstrations are planned. "Barbie Dream House is the expression of a conventional role model that isn't OK," he said.

Still got Barbie on the brain? According to the attraction’s website, for $14 you can take an elevator from room to room, create a cupcake in the kitchen, explore Barbie's endless closets, and experience the "walk-through glitterizer."
