Teary-Eyed Ann Romney Cries, 'Leave Mitt Alone!'

Ann Romney has a message for all you haters who've been dogging her Republican hubby, Mitt Romney—leave Mitt alone!

Last week, the real Mrs. Romney told a Radio Iowa interviewer that critics of her husband's rocky presidential campaign should, "Stop it. This is hard. You want to try it? Get in the ring."

So this week, New York drag queen Mimi Imfurst dressed up as Mrs. Romney and paid homage to Chris "Leave Britney Alone!" Crocker with a tearfully plea to give Mitt some peace.

"How dare any of you out there make fun of Mitt Romney... after all he's been through. He's about to lose the election! He's running against a black man! Do you know how fast they can run? He's a MORMON!! With only one wife!"

She goes on to lament how hard it is to split $200 million dollars between her and her five sons, how hard it is to decide which one of them should tie the family dog to the roof of the car for road trips and how hard it is to find ATMs that dispense gold bars.

After Imfurst's lackluster third round elimination from season four of Ru Paul's Drag Race, this video shows that she has the comic genius to make a strong showing in the upcoming Drag Race All-Stars.

But can she also tone down her over-the-top theatrics to work more subtle forms of comedy, Pandora Boxx style? We shall see.
