Gay Journalist: Hypocrits Like Rep. Aaron Schock Should Be Outed

Out reporter Itay Hod has had it with other journalists who allow politicians and public figures to remain closeted while voting against gay rights, and he implies that Illinois Rep. Aaron Schock is a prime example.
Hod wrote on Facebook that a hypothetical GOP Illinois Congressman has been caught in the shower with his male roommate by a reputable source, and was also "caught by TMZ cameras trolling gay bars." Nonetheless, the Congressman in question voted against repealing "don't ask, don't tell," opposes marriage equality, and supports a federal marriage amendment to bar same-sex couples from federal relationship recognition.
"Are we still not allowed to out him?" Hod asks. "let me ask another question... doesn't the media have an OBLIGATION to expose his hypocrisy? if he had done something so hypocritical and he wasn't gay, wouldn't we demand journalists do their job? but they can't... because we won't let them. you're not allowed to out ANYONE, we tell them. we've created a situation where even though news organizations know this guy is gay, they can't report it because he hasn't said so on twitter."
Then, Hod posted a link to Americablog's 7 Gayest Aaron Schock Instagram Posts of 2013.
