Being Greater Than AIDS

Greater Than AIDS is organization focusing on the power of individuals, who when acting together can achieve a greater goal; in this case, it's reducing the spread of HIV. By stressing unity, hope and empowerment, Greater Than AIDS inspires each and every one of us— in our relationships, families and communities— to do our part to stem HIV/AIDS.

Throughout this past summer, Greater Than AIDS groups were seen at Gay Pride celebrations, the California AIDS/LifeCycle Ride, and numerous other events. They set up a challenge to visitors crossing their path. They asked people to take pride in themselves and their communities by letting everyone publicly know what their "deciding moment" was; that is, what was their reason for deciding to be Greater Than AIDS.

From famous faces like Jack Mackenroth to Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence and every day guys, these folks offer wonderful testaments that we wanted to share with all of you.
