Marvel's LGBT Superheroes Celebrate Pride

Between the blockbuster Avengers film and the very first gay superhero wedding, Marvel comics has made it a memorable summer for gay fans. But one arty fan, L.Rey Arzeno decided to celebrate Marvel's support by depicting their other LGBT characters celebrating Pride on a sunset beach.

There's the newlywed Northstar, bisexual blue-skinned Mystique, the crusading couple of Wiccan and Hukling as well as a bunch of other Marvel favorites like Anole, Karma, Karolina Dean, Rictor, Shatterstar, and Xavin—the party looks like a blast!

Arzeno said, "From last year's legalization of gay marriage here in NYC to Obama's recent declaration of support... It's been more than a little inspirational. Lots of heart went into this one, hope you all enjoy."
