Palm Springs Pride — Nov. 3-4, 2012
November might seem like a long way off, but we'd be remiss for not including Palm Springs in our 2012 Pride Guide, simply because it's one of the most welcoming and inclusive LGBT destinations in the world.
This year's theme for the 26th annual celebration is "Long May It Wave", which of course references the rainbow flag and its "future progress toward equality and the profound sense of pride it brings to individuals around the world", as quoted by The Greater Palm Springs Pride board. Much of the 2012 festival is still in the planning stages, but we have most of the essential info below.
FESTIVAL – SATURDAY & SUNDAY
2012 Palm Springs Pride Festival
10:00 AM - 6:00 PM

The two-day Pride festival is held at the former spring training home of the California Angels with the baseball diamond serving as the main gathering spot, complete with gay-owned and LGBT friendly companies, a large dance music venue, and a multitude of local and regional stage personalities all weekend. Main stage performers have yet to be announced for 2012, but judging by last year's headliners, you can be sure it's packed with amazing talent.
2012 Palm Springs Pride Parade

This year’s parade will make history as it coincides with the 25th Anniversary AIDS Walk.
