For One Blogger, Being On The Bottom Is Tops
“As anyone who has ever been skillfully buggered knows, anal sex — at least for the prostate-endowed — is the best invention since sliced bread,” begins gay novelist Marten Weber in his latest essay on Huffington Post’s Gay Voices section, “The Bronze Eye Is Open: A Philosophy of Anal Sex.”
The essay offers a general history of sodomy and the evolving attitudes of various cultures toward the practice, but the gist of the piece is summed up by its poetic conclusion: “My answer to the fearful, the religious, and the impenetrable: Lean back, take a deep breath, and enjoy the ride.”
Weber, who declares himself “a proud power bottom” in his biography tag at the end of the article, should be especially commended for using so many colorful euphemisms for prostate stimulation, including “bum fun” and “journeys up the chocolate tunnel.”
