WATCH: Queens Know That 'Sex Is in the Heel'

Why be shady boots when you can be kinky boots?

Based on the 2005 movie about a drag queen named Lola who saves a shoe factory, Kinky Boots is now a hit Broadway musical written by Harvey Fierstein with songs by Cyndi Lauper and direction by Broadway Bares creator Jerry Mitchell.

Out Tony nominee Billy Porter, who transforms nightly into the musical's drag heroine, stops the show with Cyndi's "Sex Is in the Heel," a number in which he and his drag posse pretty much read the straight factory owner for making crappy boots with chunky heels. That song now has an official music video, which incorporates footage of both the show and the original cast album recording session.

Check out the video below — plus a clip of the Kinky Boots cast's live performance of "Sex Is in the Heel" on yesterday morning's episode of The View.
