Must Love Dogs and Broadway Gays

So. Much. Cuteness!

Mary Tyler Moore and Bernadette Peters will host the 15th annual Broadway Barks!, their star-studded dog (and cat) adoption event benefiting New York City animal shelters and adoption agencies.

Produced by Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and sponsored by the ASPCA, this year's event takes place July 13 in Manhattan's Shubert Alley.

Aside from helping hundreds of NYC's shelter animals find permanent homes, Broadway Barks! also provides a great opportunity for theater fans to get up close and personal with Broadway's most talented canophiles, including Cheyenne Jackson (pictured).

Prepping for this year's event, the good folks at Playbill have assembled some of their favorite photos of Broadway stars and their canine friends from the past three Broadway Barks! events.
