Gay Travelers LOVE Philadelphia

Greater Philadelphia Tourism now says that Philly is ranked # 13 out of the most visited U.S. destinations by gay and lesbian travelers. Philadelphia kept climbing the chart since 2007, when it was ranked # 16, and first listed in the “Top 20 U.S. Destinations” list.

The survey also showed Philadelphia ranked 3rd among those who noted which city, resort town or country has the best marketing towards the gay and lesbian community. The new ranking was based on a survey of 4,500 gay and lesbian travelers conducted by Community Marketing Inc. in San Francisco.

The usual suspects appeared on their Top 5:

1. New York City
2. San Francisco
3. Las Vegas
4. Chicago
5. Los Angeles
