Baltimore Gay Pride Parade & Block Party

(the ONLY time that ON - STREET alocohol consumption is allowed for any Pride Events in Baltimore!!!)
Baltimore's Pride weekend kicks off its 33rd year with a parade starting at 4pm along Charles St from Franklin & Charles St. The parade begins with the annual High Heel Race that is followed by floats, cars, and walking groups from all over the Maryland, DC, and Virginia areas all in the name of PRIDE. Bring your coolers, chairs, and party gear early because the streets fill quickly with parade-goers looking for that perfect spot early in the day. The Annual Block Party follows the parade with people spilling onto the intersections of Charles and Eager streets. The festivities continue until around 10pm with local entertainers, singers, and various performances that gets all wraped up with our headliner of this year... Amber!!!
Baltimore Gay Pride Festival
The Baltimore Gay Pride Festival this year will be held in Druid Hill Park from 11am - 6pm ... there is a fee to PARK on the park grounds, and spaces tend to fill up quickly so come early for a good spot! The Pride Festival is loaded with many vendors from local artists / gay & gay - friendly shops, Food / Beer, Entertainment by local and nationally known artists on several stages throughout the park.

Approximately 250,000 people attend Capital Pride, making it one of the largest LGBT Pride events in the nation.
