Where do the hot boys in your town tend to hang out?

At my house!

Do you have a hometown crush? If so, describe.

Yeah, I do. He's one of the most honest, accepting guys I have ever met, and he moved here from Missouri all on his own. He's only 23 and hes going places!! I'm proud of him.

What was the last vacation you took? Where did you go? Where do you most want to go?

The last vacation I hit up was Salt Lake City last summer. It was a very relaxed town, not much to do thanks to the VERY influential religious crowd stationed there. I was forced to gaze upon the Mormon temples, but wasn't allowed in. Not because I was gay, but because I wasn't Mormon. The sweet little slice of heaven that reigns supreme on my most desired vacation spots would have to be Bora Bora. The idea of doing nothing all day but swim in warm waters and drink fruity drinks sounds perfect. All I need is my pooch and a passport and you can kiss my ass goodbye.

What are some of the things you love most about your town?

I love that we have the mountains literally right in our backyard. It makes the winters really feel like a winter. The summers are full of all kinds of events and parades. In the spring you get your veg on, with tons of Farmer's markets to go to. Plus -- we have an entire park dedicated to just us gays.

If someone came to your town for just four hours, what is the one thing he should do?

Izzie_hamburger_marys Personally, I would have them eat at the Hamburger Mary's, which is a really cool gay restaurant located near some of the best gay bars in town. Then to go to JR's -- a local gay bar -- for a round of "Red Head Sluts" and "Car Bombs" which are amazing drinks. Oh – you may want to try a "Mile High Stud," which is another amazing cocktail.

What are your favorite gay bars and/or dance clubs?

JR's is great for social interaction between all the younger and older men. The staff is good looking, and the music is decent. As far as the club scene goes, Tracks Denver is great. It's located on the outskirts of the loft section of Denver, and it has an incredible sound system.

What are your favorite gay parties or events in your town, if any? What is the crowd or scene like at those places?

Pride Denver is actually a pretty cool parade put on every summer in June. Gays from all over the country come to it, and the people are pretty nice.

Where is the best public place for a gay person to make out there (or isn't there one)?

I would say anywhere in Capitol Hill which is pretty gay friendly. Within that whole area, it seems like one out of every five people you see is gay.

Izzi2 What is the gay community like there? Do you consider yourself to be part of any particular "scene?"

The community here seems to be a tad bit cliquish. Find time to mingle and accept everyone, social status and all. Just be yourself and people will be attracted.

Where do you go for other forms of entertainment -- live theater, concerts, movies, art exhibits?

As far as entertainment goes, the Performing Arts Complex is great for plays, etc. There's also the Botanical Gardens, which is VERY gay friendly. Check out the Japanese Exhibit -- it's amazing.

If you had gay friends visiting from out of town for the first time, what are some "must-dos" you'd recommend?

Elitch Gardens at Six Flags which is a hot destination for a hot summer day. Tons of rides to make you wish you didn't skarf down that coney before the coaster! And within walking distance from that is The Aquarium, which is a local restaurant/aquarium/exhibit for ocean lovers.
