Kathy Najimy, Mo Gaffney and Sexy Sarah Shahi Headed to The DINAH’S 20TH ANNIVERSARY Blow Out

Two cult-fave feminist comedienne's AND on of The L Word's hottest alumni (maybe) ever have just been added to the already impressive line up for the Club Skirts' Dinah 20th anniversary spectacular.

Celebrating the historic anniversary of Club Skirts The Dinah, the longest running and largest lesbian event in the world, founder Mariah Hanson is adding two mega superstars to an already phenomenally gigantic entertainment line-up: L Word actress Sarah Shahi aka “sexy Carmen,” Mo Gaffney and Kathy Najimy!

So when and where can you catch all the action?

Kathy Najimy and Mo Gaffney are bringing their multiple award winning Off Broadway play “The Kathy and Mo Show” for a one night only exclusive performance at the Palm Springs Convention Center during Club Skirts The Dinah’s Hollywood Party on Saturday April 3rd.

Reunited in 2005 for their New York Off-Broadway show “Afterbirth” - which sold out its six week limited run before the first performance – Kathy and Mo will exclusively be back on stage together again for the first time in five years at The Dinah. With great insight, wit and compassion, Kathy and Mo bring a feminist perspective to an incredible variety of characters of all ages in a series of satirical sketches.

Also joining the Dinah’sty is actress Sarah Shahi famously known for her portrayal of sexy Latina DJ Carmen on Showtime's hit drama series The L Word. The breathtakingly beautiful and sultry former Dallas Cowboy cheerleader, Shahi, will make a special appearance at the Palm Springs Convention Center during the Dinah’s White Diamonds Party. Another Dinah ONLY exclusive premiere offering fans a chance to meet the iconic L Word sex symbol.

The list of celebrities performing and appearing at this year’s The Dinah is indeed stacked with A-List names as big as any annual entertainment award shows and Hollywood premieres!

This year’s colossal Dinah Bill once again delivers the “It Girl” of the moment KE$HA, whose international smash hit “Tik Tok” just scored a milestone in the charts becoming the longest running number one debut single by a female artist dethroning Debby Boone's 1977  “You Light Up My Life.”  The Dinah is also making history with the reunion of double-platinum groundbreaking female rap duo Salt-N-Pepa appearing with DJ Spinderella for the first time since 2000. And last, but not least, “Family Ties” TV star, Meredith Baxter will make her first-ever public appearance, since publicly coming out on The Today Show, on the catwalk of the Equality California Fashion show.
 
More than an event, The Dinah has become a trendsetting entertainment phenomenon distinctively spearheading the careers of music heavyweights (Dinah Alumni) Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, The Pussy Cat Dolls, Colbie Caillat and India Arie - who have all single-handedly skyrocketed to the top of the Billboard charts post-Dinah performance.
 
Socially and culturally speaking, The Dinah also remains at the forefront of popular cinematic trends in the world of television. Showtime which has green-lit nine episodes of the much talked about reality series, "The Real L Word: Los Angeles," from "L Word" creator Ilene Chaiken and reality producers Magical Elves ("Top Chef") will be filming at The Dinah.
 
Rosie O'Donnell has canceled her show at The Dinah to remain in Miami with her children over Spring break. We are very disappointed in this decision, and know her Dinah fans will be as well. All Rosie tickets may be transferred to The Kathy and Mo Show. We are also holding an exclusive private meet and greet with The L Word's favorite character, Sarah Shahi, in which she will autograph complimentary L Word hats and pose for photos with all previous Rosie O’Donnell ticket holders prior to her meet and greet with the general Dinah attendees.
