The other day a boy came up to me and said, "Hey, you're like the gayest dude in West Hollywood." I said that I was, indeed, flattered and astonished that he even knew I was a dude. He then proceeded to tell me about the gay wrestling team he started.
"It's like for those times when you feel like touching a dude in spandex." In my head I was thinking, "Huh? Get away from me." But out loud I said, "Oh my God, I will totally look into this." He then handed me a flyer with "Gay Games" written on it.
I was skeptical at first, but I'm entirely in favor of anything and everything gay. So I went online and googled "gay games," where I discovered a post on OUTtraveler GPS about this year's Gay Games to be held in Cologne, named by OUTtraveler as "one of the gayest cities in Germany," July 31 through August 7, 2010. Athletes compete in team soccer and volleyball or in individual/pair events such as Bodybuilding, Figure Skating, Golf and Chess.
