Where We're Staying in Long Beach

See these cabanas? They are part of the beautiful Hotel Maya in Long Beach, where my husband and I will be lounging Gay Pride weekend, May 15 and 16.

Besides being an incredibly gorgeous property with top-notch amenities, there are many other reasons for our stay here:

1. We're flying JetBlue's JetPride flight (with Pam Ann), and they have a deal with the Maya, which makes for the perfect travel package.

2. The Hotel Maya is owned by the Joie de Vivre hotel group, and they are super gay friendly, so we're happy to give our dollars to a company that supports the community.

3. On Saturday, Rufskin is participating in a T-dance at this same hotel, which makes partying and crashing very easy and safe (no driving, ya see). And if Rufskin is involved you know the models are going to be HOT!

4. The Maya is totally close to the parade and pride events. See #3 about driving and all that.
