Bottoms up: Great ways to drink AGWA
Now that your appetite has been whetted by AGWA de Bolivia, the shockingly green coca leaf liqueur with the herbalicious flavor and powerful oxygen buzz, where on earth can you get it? And what are some good ways to drink it?

1 oz. Beefeater 24
1 oz. AGWA
3⁄4 oz. lemon juice
3⁄4 oz. agave dash grapfruit bitters shake
Double strain in collins glass, top with soda and garnish with orange peel.
Here are some more recipes to spice up your festive Labor Day weekend:
Agwa Bloody Mary: Combine 1.5 oz. AGWA, 3 oz. tomato juice, a splash of Tabasco, 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce, a juiced lemon, and a dash of salt & pepper. Shake with ice, strain into a glass, and add a lime wedge.
Dublin Kiss: Mix one part AGWA with two parts Bailey's Irish Cream over ice and add a splash of milk.
AGWA Fresca: Squeeze juice from 1/2 lime over 12 crushed mint leaves. Add 2 tsp. sugar, 1.5 oz. AGWA and 7 oz. club soda. Garnish with a lime wedge and serve on the rocks.
Purple Rainforest: Mix one part AGWA to two parts cranberry juice, add a splash of lemon juice, and serve on the rocks.
The Curse of Tezcatlipoca Mojito: Crush 8 mint leaves in a shaker. Add 1.5 oz. grape brandy, 3/4 oz. AGWA, 1 oz. cane rum, 1/2 ounce of Trader Vic's Premium Passion Fruit syrup, 1 oz. lime juice, and 1/8 teaspoon absinthe. Shake with crushed ice.
And for something really intense, try the Liquid Envy:
Scoop flesh of 1 Kiwi into a Boston Glass, add 12.5 ml Gomme syrup and muddle into a puree. Add 25 ml AGWA, 12.5 ml Midori, 25 ml vodka, 12.5 ml lime juice, and 50 ml. pressed apple juice and shake with cubed ice. Fine strain into a chilled martini glass (7 oz) Use hollowed kiwi as a boat, add 12.5 ml AGWA and float it glass. Garnish with a lime wedge and a skinless wheel.
