Glowlight Vigil for LGBT Youth Tonight in NYC

Thousands are expected to gather in New York City's Washington Square Park to send a message of support to the nation's LGBT youth.

The "You-Are-Loved Glowlight Vigil" will start promptly at 9:00 PM tonight under the park's arch. Organizers ask that people bring glow sticks (available at party and craft stores) due to the park's strict no candles policy.

This project is meant to provide uplifting messages, as well as, shed light on the amount of bullying, harassment, self-injury, and suicidal thoughts that disproportionately affect queer youth.
