The game starts at 7:30pm but be sure to arrive early for a special cocktail reception at the Staples Center starting at 6pm. Cheer LA will be performing at the event and after the exciting game, keep an eye out for the organized dinner/drinks post-game at one of the restaurants at L.A. Live across the street from Staples Center.

The Clippers have been welcoming and enthusiastic about planning the event. The official press release notes:

The Clippers are one of the first teams in the NBA to host an “Equality Night.” LGBT-themed events have been a part of Major League Baseball for the last decade.

“The fight for equality in California is an important one,” Mike Holtz of EqCa added. “And we are thrilled that the Clippers recognize the LGBT community as an equal and important part of their fan base.”

A portion of the proceeds of each ticket go to Equality California.
