Honolulu, Hawaii Pride Parade & Celebration – June 4, 2011

By: Ariana Castellanos
6.3.2011

Inspired by the recently signed Civil Union’s bill, Honolulu Pride Parade & Celebration 2011 theme is “Out for Justice.” This year is expected to produce an even bigger turnout than last year!

The procession:
Saturday, June 4th at 10:00 AM
From Magic Island to Kapuilani Park and Bandstand.

The 19-year tradition states Dykes-on-Bikes leads the parade, but nothing has officially been posted.

Once the crowds reach Kapuilani Park, the “celebration” portion takes over until 4:00 PM.  What happens after that is for you to decide!

Honolulu Pride Parade & Celebration kicks off pride month for the state of Hawaii, which means by the end of the day, you’ll be all warmed up for Hawaii’s next pride.

We want to celebrate with you!
Send us your Gay Pride photos. This year you can also upload videos from your phone!

Share your Pride with everyone in 2011! And don’t forget to check out our Gay Pride Gallery.
