With over 200 contingents and exhibitors, multiple stages and venues, and more than 150,000 attendees, the Pride Houston Festival is one of the largest LGBT gatherings in Texas and the southern United States.

The festival is packed with a wide variety of exhibitors, artists, music of all kinds, performers, stages, and fun. There really is something here for everyone. The celebration in the Montrose neighborhood focuses on showcasing music and entertainment from local LGBT artists and performers.

8:15 - 11:00 PM
The Houston LGBT Pride Parade was the first Pride Parade in the United States to be held at night. For 2011, this historic event will begin at 8:15 PM along Westheimer in the Montrose District. This year's Celebrity Grand Marshal is Jonathan Lovitz, the sexy star of Logo's newest hit Setup Squad. According to estimates, the Parade draws over 200,000 spectators, making it the second largest parade in Houston, and the largest gathering of LGBT individuals in the southern United States.

The LGBT Pride Parade features a Pre-Parade show that starts at 8:00 PM along Westheimer at Waugh. The show will feature entertainment to kick off the parade. The Pre-Parade Show is free to attend.
