Quad City Pride – June 4, 2011

Quad-City Pride Fest marks its 4^th year this year, and like most 4-year-olds, it is larger than life.

The festival is set for June 4 from noon through midnight in downtown Davenport, Iowa at the Second and Warren intersection.

$5 gets you in to see Roller Darby exhibitions, visit vendor booths, and make use of the picnic area with your kiddos and pets. Performers will hit the stage just about every hour, with a colorful drag show to wrap up the night. This is your time to celebrate everyone and be “Out and Proud.”

12 Noon – D’Allan Rice, blues, folk, and original tunes

1:00 pm – Luna Bonita, bellydancing

1:45 pm – Dames of Denmark, an all-female theatre troupe performing Hamlet, complete with swordfights

2:30 pm – Nikki Lunden and The Paper Hearts, acoustic folk rock with an edge

3:30 pm – Hersong The Quad Cities Women’s Chorus, profile on facebook

4:00 pm – Kevin Carton, vocals and piano

5:00 pm – Ragaman Bendy, world fusion

7:00 pm – Rose ‘N’ Thorns, soft rock & pop covers

8:30 pm – House Arrest, ‘80s power rock

10:30 pm – Drag Show, colorful, fashionable fun
