The 2011 Pride celebrations kick off on Friday July 8th and run through Sunday July 10th.

The SLO Brewing Co., located at 1119 Garden Street, will host two events to kick off the weekend celebration.
The first will be Drag Divas Live: Featuring the stars of RuPaul’s Drag Race. Tickets are $20 and the show is scheduled from 7:30pm – 10pm with doors opening at 6:30pm.
Then stick around after the drag superstars light up the stage for the Pride Dance Party from10pm – 1:30am. There is a $5 cover, but drag show attendees get in for free.
Enjoy some BBQ, beverages and music while you peruse the history of Pride at the GALA Open House from 3pm – 7pm. Located at 1060 Palm Street, San Luis Obispo.
Hosted my Emcee “Momma”, the weekend’s main event takes place in the historic Mission San Luis Obispo de Tolosa. “Pride in the Mission Plaza” runs from 12 noon until 5:30pm and features several live performances including Levi Kreis, Trusting Lucy, Cassidy Haley, and singing sensation Taylor Daynne at 4:30pm.
