Alexander McQueen: Fashion Breaks For The Masses
To break, to comprehend, to love fashion is to carry it to the precipice of its patterned limits.
Last Sunday, the “Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty” exhibition surpassed all previous attendance records of any fashion exhibition held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The last record was set by the “Superheros: Fashion Fantasy” exhibition back in 2008. The New York Times reports that close to 600,000 people have already seen the show, which is probably why The MET has decided to keep its doors open until midnight for closing weekend, Aug., 6-7.
