Chord Overstreet Returning to 'Glee'

Trouty Mouth is the catch of the day.

TV Line’s Michael Ausiello reports that Chord Overstreet, who played Sam on Glee’s second season, is closing a deal to return to the hit show.

Last summer, Glee’s producers opted not to pick up Overstreet’s series regular option, but did offer the blond babe a recurring role. Overstreet declined the offer, preferring to focus on making his own music instead. But Ausiello’s source told him, “We missed Chord and Chord missed us. It’s a win-win.”

Overstreet is scheduled to return to Glee beginning with this season’s eighth episode, which is currently scheduled to air in December.
