Kurt and Blaine's "First Time" 'Glee' Episode - Voting Results
In a big gay world that seems to be teeming with cynicism and bitterness, readers found a bit of joy and romance in last week's Glee episode. Entitled "The First Time," the episode followed some of the main characters making the big step toward losing their virginity, including gay faves Blaine and Kurt. Readers voted, and 46% thought it was handled romantically. Add in the 10% who thought it was "fun" and 12% who said it was "realistic," and you've got a whopping 68% who thought this gay relationship / sex storyline was handled in a positive fashion.
Check out the final tally here:

Comments were also on the positive end, noting that the treatment may have been simplistic but that wasn't necessarily a bad thing. For example:
Anonymous: It was simple, as it should have been. Too much [sic] would have been just that. Was it simplified, of course, but that is not to say that it was without merit. It was romantic, unrealistically so at times, but didn't we all want a little romance that first time?
Julian said, "I thought it was beautifully done and handled, from beginning to end." NYJD added, "I thought the subject of teenagers experiencing sex for the first time was handled in an extremely tasteful manner. Everyone's first time should look so romantic." And a bunch of anonymous folks labeling it "Amazing." Yes, there were a couple snarky comments about the show itself, but as polls go this one was definitely on the positive end.
Now the big question, especially for those who just tuned in for this big night: Will you continue watching Glee in the future?
