WATCH: 'Girls Who Like Boys Who Like Boys' Preview

By: Rick Andreoli

Sundance Channel's critically-acclaimed hit series Girls Who Like Boys Who Like Boys is back for it's second season, premiering this Friday, November 18. Just like the name implies, this unscripted series explores that special relationship between women and their gay best friends (GBFs), and this year the story moves to Nashville, Tennessee. While Nashville is certainly not a major destination for gay boys like New York, Miami or San Francisco, it definitely offers viewers a whole new vision of what it means to be gay or a gay ally in America.

“Last season really resonated with our audiences and we wanted to bring the show back with an even more intriguing cast and setting,” said Sarah Barnett, Executive Vice President and General Manager, Sundance Channel in a press release. “This new cast of characters lives in the heart of the Bible Belt against a backdrop of country music, the military and religious fervor–and this season will certainly shed some light on very different images of the American LGBT experience than we’ve seen on TV in the past.”

If this trailer is any indication, things are going to be even more exciting than last season. Check it out below, then visit later in the week for a look at the new cast and their story lines.

Girls Who Like Boys Who Like Boys premieres with back to back episodes this Friday, November 18th at 9:00 and 9:30pm. The show will continue next week, November 25th, with one episode each Friday at 9:00 pm.
