WATCH: 'Downton Abbey' Spoof with Jennifer Saunders, Joanna Lumley & Kim Cattrall

It’s a big night for the British import and phenomenon Downton Abbey, which is up for several Golden Globes and with the American premiere of the show’s second season just last week. The Masterpiece Classics’ drama about life above and below stairs in the Edwardian era has been compared to Upstairs, Downstairs and Gosford Park, but Downton Abbey goes a step further to be a soapy, period piece. Needless to say, that's made the show hugely popular.

It's only natural that some group of comics would decide to spoof it, but what a delight to find out it would come from Absolutely Fabulous’ Jennifer Saunders and Joanna Lumley, and Sex and the City’s Kim Cattrall?

The short is called "Upstairs Downstairs Abbey," and it aired last March for the BBC’s Red Nose Day, the British equivalent of Comic Relief.

Watch Cattrall do a spot-on impression of Elizabeth McGovern’s character Lady Grantham, an American living in Britain, while Saunders takes on Maggie Smith’s killer one-liner spewing Dowager Countess and Joanna Lumley steps in as the head housekeeper Mrs. Hughes.
