These Musicians More Famous Than You And Me Will Be Televised

What does Kele Okereke, the openly gay lead singer of British indie-rock band Bloc Party, have in common with Matt Costa, the surfing singer-songwriter from Southern California?

Well, for starters (at least today that is), they share the small screen of your television or computer for an up close and personal acoustic performance on the here! TV and here! Online series, Soundcheck (a sort of gay interpretation of MTV’s Unplugged).

And to anyone who can’t seem to get enough of the Norwegian band Katzenjammer—for good reason when you consider that they play over 25 different instruments—make sure that you tune into the same Soundcheck episode to hear them perform an unhindered version of their hit single “Ain’t No Thang” (the hidden track from their 2008 album, Le Pop).
