Forget Med School! Become The Price Is Right's First Man Model
You wanted to be a movie star. Your parents wanted you to be a doctor. Why not split the difference and become The Price Is Right's first-ever male model?
That's right, the 39-year-old TV game show is seeking a handsome guy to showcase prizes while contestants try to guess the retail value of frozen foods, floor cleaners and bedroom furniture.
According to TVLine.com, "hunky hopefuls will be interviewed by TPIR producers and the four female models. There, candidates will demonstrate verbal skills as well as the ability to pose and ‘properly showcase a product.’”
Then on September 28, "Six finalists [will be] announced on... a five-episode web series... showing the wannabes engaging in assorted challenges” where viewers can vote on their favorite fella.
The winner of that digital popularity contest will snag a one-week gig beginning October 15 as TPRI's first male model—a historic first.
So if you have beautifully un-calloused hands and can adorably pout whenever someone loses, hit up KCBS Studios at 4024 Radford Avenue in Studio City, California on Thursday August 30, from 10 am to 2 pm PST.
Not only could you make a historic first, but you could also give a lotta happy guys and girls another reason to watch (as if Plinko wasn't reason enough).
