Jesse Tyler Ferguson And Fiancé Model Their New Bowtie Line at The Emmys
Aww, Jesse Tyler Ferguson may've lost the Emmy for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series to Modern Family costar Eric Stonestreet, but at least he used the televised event — and his ginger neck — to publicize Tie the Knot, the new marriage equality foundation he's launching with cutie fiancé Justin Mikita.
In case you missed it, last week Ferguson announced his engagement to attorney Justin Mikita after first announcing their new partnership with Tie Bar to design a collection of unique bowties that will benefit various organizations that fight for the civil rights of gay and lesbian couples. The $25 ties will go on sale exclusively online in November.
"Justin and I created Tie The Knot in the hopes that we soon see a day when millions of Americans across the country will have the basic civil right to marry the person they love," says Modern Family's resident redhead. "When people purchase our bowties, they’re raising funds that will help support marriage equality, and they’re doing it while looking damn good."
