Stephen Colbert: Why Gays Should Love Boeing's Anti-Gay Policies
Boeing, the American company that makes planes for just about every major airline, recently said that they will not offer married pension benefits to their legally married gay employees in Washington state.
And satirical mastermind Stephen Colbert thinks that's good for the gays. After all, companies that don't have to pay out pensions to gay spouses will save millions, making them all the more eager to hire gay employees.
He has a point, though would you really want to work for a company that refuses to recognize your spouse?
If frequent fliers start pointing out this inequality to airlines, the major carriers might tell Boeing to start flying in a more balanced way, lest they crash land into an anti-gay public relations nightmare.
