So What's Next For 'RuPaul's All Stars Drag Race' Winner Chad Michaels?

By: Brandon Voss

Our heartfelt condragulations go out to RuPaul's Drag Race season 4 runner-up Chad Michaels, who ultimately snatched the tiara in the All Stars competition finale. Too soon to tell if he'll live up to the coveted title, but his reign will likely include music and merchandise.

Besides continuing to tour and meet loyal fans, which he calls his "number one priority," Michaels is already itching to take over the entertainment world. "Maybe there will be a movie audition, or a guest spot in another reality show, or maybe a celebrity impersonation revue at a casino," he tells "Anything could happen. My options are open. I want to do a single, but I’m being very cautious about that. I want to do it right. I want to do something that represents me, but is also fun and worthwhile..." No doubt that the music video for that inevitable dance single will be among the best of the Drag Race alum oeuvre.

If you can't wait that long to own a piece of Chad, start checking now. "I started some merchandising, which I’ve stood against for a really long time," Michaels says. "But I’ve had a lot of fans that are requesting things like t-shirts, so... But I’m just taking it day-by-day right now, and really enjoying it. I’m having a great time right now."

And what about that $100,000 cash prize? "Well, after taxes…," he laughs, "I’m not sure. I’m definitely going to be setting up a trust fund for my little nephew, because I really want him to have a little bit of an advantage when it comes time for him to make his way in the world. At this point in my life, I think it’s really important to start planning for the future, so I’m going to put most of the money up… possibly some investing. I want to take care of the people closest to me. I’m definitely not going to spend it on booze and women."
