WATCH: Douglas Asks Damon, 'Do You Want the Bottom or the Top?'
Man, those Emmys were a Debbie Downer, huh? But one relatively bright spot was the acceptance speech by Michael Douglas, who won the award for Lead Actor, Miniseries or Movie for his performance as Liberace in HBO's Behind the Candelabra.
A little of Liberace's sparkle must've stuck with him, because the actor dished out some sassy gay double entendre last night while offering to share his award with fellow nominee Matt Damon, who portrayed the late entertainer's unlikely paramour in the film, which also won the Emmy for Best Miniseries or Movie.
"This was a two-hander, and Matt," — pause for laughter — "you're only as good as your other hand," Michael said. "You were magnificent, and the only reason I'm standing here is because of you. So, you really deserve half of this. So do you want the bottom or the top?"
Matt, the man beneath the white Speedo, apparently picked the top. "I figured that,” Michael quipped. Gay sexual position humor always kills at award shows.
