'How I Met Your Dad' Adds Second Gay Character
As CBS's hit series, How I Met Your Mother, draws to a close, the spinoff, How I Met Your Dad, is kicking production into high gear.
Over the past month, the network has made a series of casting announcements including Greta Gerwig as Sally the female lead through which the story is told, Krysta Rodriguez as Sally's sexy female BFF and Drew Tarver as Sally's gay BFF who is married to her brother.
On Friday, Deadline reported that the show added two more characters, including Sally's gay, perfect but uptight brother Danny. Andrew Santino, who is currently starring on ABC's dismal Mixology, has been tapped for the role while Masters of Sex's Nick D'Agosto joins as Sally's love interest.
Santino will serve as guest star until Mixology's timely demise. In the meantime, you can check out the bearder ginger on Twitter. And thanks to his personal website, it looks like he's already got the leather thing down.
