OVERLOOKED: Google+ And Pride Toronto's LGBT Shorts Are Like A Mini-Outfest

RIght now while everyone's giving Outfest all the gay fim love, fewer folks noticed that Google+ and Pride Toronto have released their own fantastic shorts program on YouTube.

To celebrate this year's Toronto Pride theme—"Love, Share, Celebrate, Demonstrate Together"—director Jeff Feuerzeig created six two-minute films that look into the comings out of a young teen, a married military dad, a drag performer and a gay couple who marched in Toronto's first Pride parade.

They're all beautifully shot and surprising in the way they convey the importance of community, identity, honesty and not apologizing for who you love.

If you've got 12 minutes, take a moment to watch the series—it'll bring a smile to your face. They're filled with personality and may just change the way you look at yourself and others in our community.

Plus each film ends with the great lyric "I've seen lots of funny things in my time, but I've never ever, ever, ever... I've never seen a straight banana!"
