F-in' S-! The Cursing News Anchor Says He Didn't Say 'Gay'

By: Brandon Voss

First days are hard, you guys!

Not realizing his mic was on, flustered rookie news anchor A.J. Clemente kicked off his first night behind the desk at KFYR, an NBC affiliate in Bismarck, North Dakota, with what sounded like the words "Gay fuckin' shit." Needless to say, that fuckin' shit has gone viral.

After KFYR-TV News Director Monica Hannan issued an apology on Facebook, Clemente revealed via Twitter this morning that he had been fired — but not before he cleared up that whole "gay" thing: “I just want to say that I did not say the word gay,” he tweeted. “I was trying to pronounce the London Marathon winners name Tsegaye Kebede... I would never disrespect anybody in that matter. Once again I'm truly sorry." View those tweets below.
