WATCH: Straight Adults Tell Younger Selves Not to Be Homophobic

Minus 18, the largest support network for LGBT teenagers in Australia, has produced a new antibullying campaign which aims to fight bullying and homophobia in a personal, thought-provoking way.

The video "Year 7 Self" features seven heterosexual adults sharing advice with their younger selves through personal stories of how they regret not having been supportive of the LGBT people who will eventually enrich their lives. The campaign is a refreshing look at the issues of bullying, homophobia, and transphobia that is both touching and educational.

“Just because we’re straight, doesn’t mean we have to be narrow,” reads the introduction on the Year 7 Self website. “You might not know it now, but you’re going to have people in your life who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, and trans … and that’s a pretty awesome thing.”

Check out the video below. By the way, what would you tell your seven-year-old self?
